On March 15, 2016, Cuyahoga Falls Library will propose the renewal of a 1.9-mill operating levy lasting five years. This is not a new tax and not a tax increase. The levy currently costs the owner of a $100,000 house about $1.12 per week, and that will not change.
The library receives 48% of its funding from this local levy, and approximately 49% of its funding from the State of Ohio’s Public Library Fund.
Renewal of the levy will ensure that resources, hours, and programming are maintained for the library’s 59,000 cardholders.
Members plan programs for other teens, select books, movies and music for the teen collection, and work towards making this library a fun and safe place for other teens to come and enjoy. You will be rewarded for all your hard work at each monthly meeting…with pizza! Anyone in grades 6 to 12 is welcome to join. For more information, contact teen librarian Jen Morton at 330-928-2117 x 151 or email@example.com.
