DSC_0143LIBRARY CARDS: Library cards are free to residents of Ohio. A picture ID with name and current address is required. Patrons under the age of 15 require a parent or guardian’s presence and signature. There is a $1 fee to have a lost library card replaced.

EXPRESS PICK-UP WINDOW: The Express Pick-up Window allows you to pick up materials without leaving your car. Please observe the following: 1. Call at least 30 minutes in advance to arrange for items to be waiting for you; 2. Have your library card with you; 3. Teacher loans, book boxes, or other large/heavy containers cannot be picked up; 4. Pick-ups are limited to five items; 5. Fine cannot be paid at the express window.

SEARCH OHIO and OHIOLINK: SearchOhio connects you to over 10 million items from 23 other library systems, including Akron-Summit County Public Library, Cuyahoga County Public Library and many others. OhioLINK gives you access to over 60 million items from Ohio colleges and universities. Place your request online and you will be notified when your item is available for pickup.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS: You can use your library card to stream and download digital content through the following free services:

HOMEBOUND SERVICES: The library offers a free delivery service for homebound adults in Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake. Materials are delivered monthly by a volunteer and may include regular print books, large print books, paperback books, books on CD, and music CDs. Call 330-928-2117 for more information.

TEACHER LOANS: Teachers and homeschoolers may apply for a separate card that allows them to borrow juvenile books and materials to use in classrooms for four weeks. The limit is 45 items and they are non-renewable. Applicants must live or work in Summit County and have a valid Cuyahoga Falls Library card.

COMPUTERS: Library computers offer Internet access, Microsoft Office, educational software, early childhood games, the library catalog, database access and more. Users must have a Cuyahoga Falls Library Card and less than $5 in fines. Session limits apply.

COPIERS: The library provides one photocopier on the upper level. The cost is $.10 per copy. The copiers are black only, not color.

WI-FI: The library has free wireless access points at both ends of the building upstairs and one for the meeting rooms downstairs. Connect to the “FallsLibrary” network.

MEETING ROOMS: The library provides free meeting rooms for civic, welfare, educational and cultural activities. Call 330-928-2117 for more information or to begin the reservation process.

COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD: The library will post news and announcements from nonprofit, educational, cultural or civic groups on the bulletin board in the lobby. Please bring items to be posted to the administrative office.

LOCAL HISTORY ROOM: The local history room collects and preserves items of historic value including maps, yearbooks, city directories and more. Call 330-928-2117 to make an appointment.

PROGRAMS & EVENTS: The library offers many free programs for patrons of all ages including story times, concerts, educational workshops, family-friendly special events, movies, a Summer Reading Program and more. Look for weekly listings in the Cuyahoga Falls News-Press.

FRIENDS OF CUYAHOGA FALLS LIBRARY: The Friends initiate and support programs, newsletters, volunteer luncheons, decorations, printing supplies, equipment purchases and more. Book sales are held the first full weekend in May and November. Members receive newsletters and are entitled to attend pre-sale night at book sales.
