Updated: Nov. 20, 2023

The Cuyahoga Falls Library is partnering with the Special Collections Division of Akron-Summit County Public Library (ASCPL) to catalog and preserve our local history collection.

Any items not housed in the reference collection at Cuyahoga Falls Library are now archived in the ASCPL’s Special Collections Division, located on the third floor of the Akron-Summit County Public Library’s Main Branch in Downtown Akron. The archived collection includes files, photos, negatives and slides, printed and published materials, writings and manuscripts, official and legal records, maps and blueprints, audiovisual materials, and scrapbooks.

Special Collections will also begin digitizing select photographs and documents in the Summit Memory database. The Cuyahoga Falls Library will announce when digital records are available on www.summitmemory.org.
